A Little
ABOUT ME
I am a freelance 3D Artist, motion, web and graphics designer based near Brisbane, Queensland and I absolutely love my job and the artistic lifestyle! I’m highly passionate about my work which is why when I’m not doing work on client projects, you can usually find me working on my own (or friends) projects. In my spare time I like to enjoy the simple and quiet things in life: the wind blowing through my hair as I cast my eye over a stunning landscape, riding the beautiful waves at the beach on my surfboard, reading a good book, listening to relaxing music, a quiet leisurely stroll, photography and spending time with friends and family.

THE
INITIAL SPARK
I first got interested in the multimedia/video/film world after watching a motivational media presentation presented at the high school I was attending. Instead of watching the presentation for its moral messages I was captivated by the combination of music, video and the then "visual effects" in the presentation. I think this was the spark that lead to the lighting of the fire.
THE
FLAME BURNS
From school I went onto tertiary study at Queensland University of Technology where I completed a 4 year double degree - Bachelor of Information Technology/Bachelor of Creative Industries (Communication Design). It was here, after taking a semester in 3D that I fell completely in love with everything film/vfx/3d related. Since this time there has been no stopping me from learning all I can about this field.
THE DREAM
TAKES FLIGHT
After completing my study I landed my first job in the industry at Photon VFX (Australia) as a 3D character animator on the TV series "Animalia" for almost a year and a half. I then went on to work as a freelance lighter on another TV series based in Australia for 6 months until production was stopped due to funding issues and I found myself unexpectantly out of a job. I then moved back home.
THE
CURRENT CHAPTER
Soon after I moved home, the global finacial crisis stripped the industry of full time jobs and I found myself at rock bottom - my dream in ruins and my burning desire trapped. It was then I picked up my freelance reins and slowly fought to get back on my feet. I discovered I loved to freelance and now I spend most of my time freelancing and occasionally working for studios.
